Newwaste offers various types of hardware for waste containers, such as intelligent motor locks and PIN code systems. Because we want to be progressive and sustainable, we continuously update our hardware solutions. This way your waste containers are always up to date.

Sustainable hardware

Sustainability has a role in all our hardware solutions. Whether it is a motor lock, battery pack or PIN code system, we believe it should last as long as possible. The battery packs for example, are completely recyclable and the battery inside is connected to a light cell.

FAQ

Is your hardware easy to replace?

Yes, normally a technician can replace a part, test it, and leave it working within 15 minutes.

Could it be necessary to open the hardware in some cases (for example, to fix a loose SIM or memory card)?

No, this is not necessary. If the system does not work, another system can easily be installed. We take back the non-working system and repair it. In addition, all our card readers have a fixed memory and SIM, which means that malfunctions are virtually impossible.

Can your hardware be applied to my containers?

It often can, but we are happy to come by for an inventory.

How do the PIN code systems work?

The PIN code systems are connected to the standard access control system, so that the container cannot only be opened with a card, but also with a PIN code.

How do the depth gauges work?

We can connect the depth gauges to an existing system or place them separately (stand-alone) in a container. Depth gauges measure the depth and translate this into a filling percentage.

Why do you use light cells instead of solar cells?

The Netherlands has relatively few sunny days. That is why these light cells are designed to be charged, even with less sunshine.
