Waste containers are always locked. They can only be opened by someone with access holding their card in front of the card reader. In places where users have to pay per waste deposit, people often try to open containers without a card, so that they do not have to pay for their waste deposit. They for example do this by pulling very hard. It is therefore important to equip containers with strong locks.
With the intelligent motor lock that we have developed at Newwaste, vandalism does not stand a chance. This lock is so strong that it is impossible to open the container without a card. The motor lock has its own printed circuit board and can be connected to Bluetooth, so that it can be operated with a smartphone. You can for example use an app to see the status or temporarily open the container in the event of a malfunction.
